Its been a while since i posted here. Was way to busy with the planning part.
We're finally back from an awesome trip with way too many memories!

Accomadation - Almost done

After a month or more of researching, most of us slacked off(!!) on the house hunt.
Dumma in his usual paranoia, went at it full steam and has nailed down a place for us.

here is a short description of the place:

Ideally located opposite Suga Suga and walking distance to Mullins Beach and Suga Sugar Beach Bar and Restaurant is Que Sera, an impeccable 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom holiday home with swimming pool, open plan kitchen, living and dining areas which open onto a courtyard at the back and lovely covered terrace at the front.

The damage: Approximatley $1000 per person for the 9 night , 10 day stay! Yikes!!!

Paying the 25% down payment today or so. So we should be set.

The entertainment planning is scheduled for November and December. By Jan 2007, we should have all the pieces in place ;)

Tickets - GOT IT!!!

Woo hoo! the tickets are a done deal as of this evening.
Just got an email from the folks saying that they've allotted 3 tickets for us.

Also, the other folks who had applied, all got them as well!

Cricket World Cup 2007 - Why?

Given that Rishon had behaved himself extremely well on our 16 day trip to Belgium and Netherlands, we decided we were ready for more trips soon! On our arrival we heard that Venu Javarappa had just applied for the Cricket world cup 2007 to be held in the carribbean.

We had never been to the carribbean and this was _THE_ way to see it. Some cricket, some rum, some cigars, some "stuff" - hey why not?? So we decided to apply for 3 tickets. Its a lottery based scheme, so keeping our fingers crossed to see if we'll get it or not.

We have applied for a "Follow a path" for the India Cricket Team. FAP 064 is the package.

Waiting on a confirmation email about the tickets......
